Giclée printing,
from a shop that also frames.
Pigment inks on archival paper, up to museum-grade cotton rag. Print shops stop at the print. We print the giclée, cut the frame, and ship the finished piece under your name. So your buyer gets one object, done right, from one floor.
What is a giclée print?
A giclée print is a fine art reproduction made with pigment inks on archival paper, printed at high resolution. Pigment inks resist fading for decades. Archival papers hold their color and texture. It is the standard museums, galleries, and working artists use when a reproduction has to look and last like the original.
The word gets abused. Some print-on-demand platforms call any inkjet poster a giclée. The difference is the ink and the paper: dye ink on poster stock fades in years, pigment ink on cotton rag lasts generations. We only print the second kind.
What every print leaves the shop with.
Fade resistance measured in decades
Pigment particles sit in the paper instead of soaking through it. Blacks stay dense and colors hold, indoors, for generations.
Matte, satin, and 100 percent cotton rag
Museum-grade cotton rag is the top of the line: the same stock institutional reproductions ride on. See every option on the materials page.
We check your file before we print it
The designer tells you exactly what your file can support at 300 DPI. A soft print never surprises you or your buyer.

Giclée questions.
What is a giclée print?
A fine art reproduction made with pigment inks on archival paper at high resolution. Pigment inks resist fading for decades, and archival papers hold their color and texture. It is the standard for museum and gallery reproductions.
Are your prints true giclée prints?
Yes. Every paper print is pigment ink on archival stock, with 100 percent cotton rag as the top option. There is no cheaper non-archival tier. Giclée is simply how we print.
Can I sell giclée prints from my own store?
Yes. Connect your store and sell them framed or unframed. We print, frame, and ship each paid order from New Jersey, and tracking posts back automatically. See every platform.
Do you print limited editions?
Yes, as a concierge service. We print the run, you sign and number it. We can ship the whole edition to you or hold and fulfill it piece by piece. Email partners@framesondemand.app.
Can you frame an original artwork?
Yes, by arrangement. Originals move through the shop by hand, not the automated line. Email us first and we will plan packaging, framing, and delivery with you.
