Connect your store and list in minutes. We print, frame, and ship every order under your name, in 3 to 5 days. Cut to your art in one New Jersey shop, and you are billed only after each order ships. So the sale stays yours and the margin holds. 40+ real wood frames. Most print partners offer 3.
Four ways to sell one upload.
Your customer picks the format on your listing. We build it either way, on the same floor, from the same file.
Custom framing is the whole point.
Most print partners offer a few stock frames in three colors. We are a working frame shop: 40+ solid wood mouldings for paper prints, plus float and traditional frames for canvas, more than 80 frame styles all told. Every one cut and joined to your art's exact size, with 46 mat colors and acrylic glazing.

The catalog of a working frame shop.
A dozen of forty-plus, every one photographed at the miter join in our shop. See the whole catalog. Then hold it: chips at $5, mat and acrylic swatches at $3, and up to $25 comes back on your first order.
What a fulfillment partner owes you.
Billing that follows your sales
Most POD apps charge your card the minute an order comes in, days before your marketplace pays you. We charge when the label prints. Your payout usually lands before our charge does.
So your growth never becomes a cash squeeze.
Listings that land ready to sell
Upload art once. Framed and unframed variants push to your store as drafts, mockups attached, prices set from your markup. You review, you publish, you own the listing.
So you launch on your schedule, not ours.
Mistakes that cost us, not you
When something arrives damaged, we reprint and reship within two business days. No photo evidence, no claim form, no debate. Your customer sees one clean unboxing, the second time.
So a bad shipment never becomes a bad review.
Prices that hold still
Sellers have watched other POD platforms raise prices overnight and break every margin in their catalog. We will not do that. If a material cost ever forces a change, you get written notice first, and orders already in your queue ship at the old price.
So the margin you planned is the margin you keep.

Quick answers.
What is FramesOnDemand?
FramesOnDemand is a print-on-demand custom framing service run by CustomPictureFrames.com, a working frame shop in Somerset, New Jersey. You connect your store on Shopify, Etsy, Wix, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Squarespace, or eBay, and we print, frame, and ship each paid order under your brand. More than 80 frame styles across paper and canvas, cut to the exact size of the art, with no inventory and no subscription.
How does FramesOnDemand work with Shopify?
One-click install via OAuth. The app adds a fulfillment location to your store, generates framed and unframed variants as draft products, and routes paid orders to our New Jersey shop automatically.
How are sellers billed?
Per order, at the time we ship. No monthly subscription, no platform tier fee, no per-variant cost. You pay production cost plus a flat shipping rate. The card on file is charged when the label prints.
Can my customers see free shipping?
Yes. We charge sellers a flat shipping rate by size bucket. You bake that into your retail price and advertise free shipping at checkout. Your customers see one price. Conversion rates climb when shipping isn't a surprise at the cart.
Which platforms can I use?
Shopify, Etsy, Wix, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Squarespace, and eBay. Anything else can order through our public REST API or manual order entry. See every platform.
What product types do you fulfill?
Four. Framed paper prints, framed canvas prints, unframed paper prints, and unframed gallery-wrap canvas. Custom sizing on every type, from 4 by 4 inches up to 32 by 40.
What sizes do you make?
We size by your artwork, the print itself, not the overall frame. Width plus height of the print up to 72 inches combined. So 32×40, 22×50, or any rectangle that sums to 72. Minimum 4×4. Fractional sizing on every product. The finished framed product extends roughly 1 to 3 inches per side beyond the print, depending on the moulding.
How long does production take?
Three to five business days from order to ship, measured across the trailing twelve months at the parent shop. Tracking posts back to your store the moment the carrier label prints.
Who owns the artwork I upload?
You do. Uploading grants us a license to print, frame, pack, and ship it to fulfill your storefront's orders. The license ends when you uninstall. We never use seller artwork to train models or sell to anyone else. Read the terms for the full language.
What happens if a print arrives damaged?
Free replacement, no questions, no photo evidence required. Replacement ships within two business days. Damage rate has run under 0.3 percent across the parent shop for years.
What happens if my card on file declines?
The order doesn't enter production until the charge clears. We email you, you update the payment method in the billing page, and the order resumes the moment the charge succeeds. No production cost stranded on a bad card.
Are your prints real giclée prints?
Yes. Every paper print is a giclée: pigment inks on archival paper, including museum-grade cotton rag. That is the standard for fine art reproductions, and it is the only way we print. See our giclée printing page for the full detail.
Can artists run limited editions or frame originals?
Yes on both, as a concierge service. We print your edition run on archival paper and you sign and number each piece. If you want an original framed and shipped to a collector, email us and we will walk it through the shop by hand.
Will your prices change after I build my catalog?
Not quietly, ever. If a material cost forces a change, you get written notice before it takes effect, and orders already in your queue ship at the old price. Your listed margins never break overnight.
